AL-YA’LU International Outlook School is an Islamic basic education institution founded in 2003, with the vision of ‘Nurturing an Excellent Generation for the Future.’ AL-YA’LU equips students with foundations in Islamic spiritual character, social skills, knowledge, and practical skills through various activities designed to develop all aspects of the students’ abilities.

Educational Levels and Accreditation
Currently, AL-YA’LU provides education from early childhood to secondary school levels, specifically:

# Pre-Kindergarten — Accredited A

# Kindergarten — Accredited A

# Elementary School — Accredited A

# Middle School — Accredited A

All levels are accredited by the National Accreditation Board (BAN-PDM).

Learning Hours
AL-YA’LU Superior School implements a full-day learning system from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Meanwhile, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students have the option to choose between part-day (07:00 AM – 11:00 AM) or full-day (07:00 AM – 03:00 PM).

Facilities
Equipped with Audio Visual Teaching Aids in all classrooms and the availability of other supporting facilities, such as laboratories, a mosque, ICT equipment, a library, meeting rooms, a digital school theatre, dining rooms, a swimming pool, and a spacious playground, these can motivate and inspire students throughout their learning day.

Multimedia-based learning is supported by excellent learning facilities and services under a full-day school program that integrates Education, Health, and nutritious organic food to optimize student potential.

Curriculum
The school implements an integrated learning pattern across all curriculum content with varied learning approaches, combined with the school’s environmental conditions, in order to equip students with various study guidance and self-development programs. The school implements the National Curriculum enriched with an international-perspective curriculum, covering methods, media, and assessments. This provides opportunities for students to develop optimally according to their learning abilities.

The curriculum, which is integrated with the school’s excellences, also gives teachers the opportunity to be more creative, broaden their horizons, and improve the quality of instruction, both in terms of their competence and performance.

GRADUATE COMPETENCE
AL-YA’LU Superior School graduates at all levels possess high competence, both cognitively and in practical skills, thus forming a strong foundation for continuing their studies at the next level.

BINA AQIDAH AKHLAQ, FIQIH, AND ISLAMIC CULTURE (Spiritual, Moral, and Fiqh Development)
Development of Islamic Aqidah (creed) in accordance with the examples of Prophet Muhammad SAW, his companions, the Tabi’in, the Tabi’it-tabi’in, up to the Wali Songo in Indonesia and their successor scholars; basic Fiqh (jurisprudence) education; and instilling the noble values of Islam based on Islamic Cultural History in students through Islamic Religious Education, as well as the habituation of practicing worship at school. Islamic Education adheres to Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah / Aswaja (Sunni) principles, which affirm the image of Islam as rahmatan lil ‘alamin (a mercy to all creation) that is inclusive and possesses a tolerant character, supported by the reinforcement of religious moderation for educators and students.

READING AND WRITING THE QUR’AN AND HADITS
Development of the ability to read the Holy Qur’an using the Tilawati and Iqro’ methods, starting from the basics, as well as the Al-Hadith, until they become ritual practices and form the basis of akhlaqul karimah (noble character education).

KHOTIB CILIK (CHILD PREACHER)
Guidance for Friday prayers and Eid prayers is carried out with student preachers (Khotib Cilik).

AL-YA’LU EDUTAINMENT
Student exhibitions and performances covering self-development activities in the fields of language and arts, crafts, theater, sports, Taekwondo, electronics, information, and technology.

AL-YA’LU SMART ACCURATE CONTEST & OLYMPIAD
The Smart Accurate Contest is a competition covering all school subjects. Subject Olympiad coaching is an educational platform to enable competition between students and between schools, ranging from local, regional, and national to international levels.

AL-YA’LU FAIR
Academic and self-development competitions and exhibitions.

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
Through project-based learning, students gain high motivation, feel active in their studies, and appreciate the quality of their work results.

STUDY OF INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSION
Study visits to business centers, technology and information centers, educational institutions, and government offices.

LANGUAGE CONTEST
Student championships in Indonesian and international languages, including speech contests, poetry and news reading contests, storytelling, and theater competitions.

ENVIRONMENTAL LOVE EDUCATION
As an Adiwiyata School (Green School Awardee), AL-YA’LU develops environmental and social education integrated with the school curriculum.

INTEGRITY-BASED NATIONAL ASSESSMENT
Students are equipped with competent knowledge reflected in the national assessment results, which are carried out with high regard for integrity.
